It’s challenging to find a bad movie made by Bruce Willis. From Die Hard to Sixth Sense, The Whole Nine Yards, and Unbreakable, he’s always chosen his films very well. The same could be said for his real estate, where he spent $9 million on an 8,400-square-foot mansion in New York.

The five-bedroom, eight-bathroom home includes a saltwater pool, pool house, and tennis court. It also has three cottages, a tennis court, and a wine cellar. In 2019 Willis put the property on the market after selling his other New York apartment in Central Park West for $17 million. He eventually also sold the Bedford estate for $7.66 million.

Jane Fonda – $13 Million, Beverly Hills

Legendary movie star Jane Fonda has been in the film industry since 1963. She’s also delved into other sectors, including activism, raising awareness for feminine causes and native Americans, and publishing, with a best-selling autobiography. She has also delved into interior design by buying a 7,102-square-foot mansion.

The two time Oscar winner and wellness guru designed the house with wellness in mind with a meditation garden, fountain, and gym. It’s also an open plan paradise with glass interior walls and a glass elevator. Unfortunately, the mansion formed part of her time with ex-husband and music producer Richard Perry, and she eventually sold the house for just under $13 million.

Will Smith – $42 Million, California

He’s famous for being the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, but Will Smith is living the quiet life in Calabasas California on a compound so big, it has its own zip code. The Oscar and Grammy winner, who was flat broke before he landed the role on Fresh Prince, originally bought the property for $20 million.

The property has basketball courts, a golf course, tennis court, huge garage, and a recording studio and is currently valued at $42 million. The price increase is mostly due to the renovations, which took seven years to complete. Smith most recently starred in the third installment of the Bad Boys franchise.

Chris Evans – $3.5 Million, Hollywood Hills

Most fans know Chris Evans for playing Marvel’s first Avenger, Captain America; not many remember that he once played Marvel superhero Johnny Storm, aka, the Human Torch from the Fantastic Four. One thing people won’t forget is that Evans has a magical 4,599-square-foot house in the Laurel Canyon, right beside the Hollywood Hills.

When buying the house, Evans made sure that his passion for cooking was taken care of with a spacious open plan kitchen. The cozy home has three bedrooms, four bathrooms, a dressing room, and a steam shower. All of this, plus, it also has a stunning view of the Los Angeles skyline.

Joaquin Phoenix – $1.39 Million, Los Angeles

Joaquin Phoenix’s last role in The Joker cemented him as one of the more eccentric Hollywood actors. But he was already known for making strange decisions, like when he bought his neighbor’s house for $1.39 million. The 2,511-square-foot house he purchased is smaller than his original property, and rumors that he was going to combine the two on one compound never reached fruition.

The neighbor’s house is a three-bedroom, three-bathroom house that is described in the listing as a special charmer redone to perfection. Phoenix’s original house, purchased in 2006 for $4.8 million, is described as modest but still boasts four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and is 3.753 square feet in size.
